Problem & Goal
The objective of this project was to practice layout in design skills and formatting text properly. I chose the topic of a Food and Nutrition Magazine which covered the topic of superfoods and why they are so good for you. The importance of hierarchy was strongly expressed before beginning and the goal was to make sure certain words stood out.
Strategy & Process
My strategy for beginning this was first to find inspiration for other layouts that I found appealing. From there I sketched out some layout ideas and decided it was right to illustrate the food I wanted to create a pattern with. After establishing that I worked on the placement of the header and the article text going along. These ideas were brought to InDesign and created from there.
